Situation: The CIO for an electronics manufacturing company told us, "I want to be more involved with strategic issues of the company, but can't get past the tactical IT issues."

What we did: We used our insight and experience in strategic planning, personnel development and process management to standardize daily routines, drive efficiency and enhance capabilities to help the CIO. We created a multi-year strategic roadmap, key metrics, an action plan and helped him implement them.

Impact: The CIO was able to increase significantly the amount of time he spent on strategic issues for the company thereby improving the corporate financials including stock price. He was promoted to COO.
