Telecommunications Firm IT Executive Skills
Situation: With three hundred million dollars in sales, the leading licensor, designer and marketer of high quality menswear to all levels of retail distribution in the United States, Puerto Rico and Canada sought to improve their already successful IT organization’s performance and enable it to become a catalyst for corporate growth.
The company contracts for the manufacture of its products through a worldwide network of quality manufacturers. The company uses approximately 130 independent suppliers, located in the Far East, other parts of Asia, Africa and South and Central America.
Solution: · Delivered an organizational performance training program to IT executives. · Each facilitated education session lasted between two and three days · Hosted capstone event to tie the sessions together · Participants in the sessions learned: – How to deliver the right message to the right people. – A behavioral approach to leadership. – How to create and operate “high performance” teams. – What the “generation” gap means and how to manage it. – How to manage people change in a dynamic IT organization.
Result: Company revenues have increased 3-fold since the completion of the leadership program.
