Magellan Bios
Robert L. Perrin CEO, President and Founding Executive
Robert L. Perrin has more than 30 years of information technology and business experience with multiple tenures as Chief Information Officer and other executive positions. Bob worked in various industries including ground and air transportation, insurance, banking and retail/wholesale. Bob has been recognized for his work on company and national levels. With this background, he co-founded Magellan Associates LLC and co-created The Performance Management Trilogy©. He has provided services, coached executives and their teams to organization performance excellence including Fortune 50 to 1000 companies, both profit and non-profit in the United States and abroad.
He is a Founding Faculty Member of the University of Miami’s IT Executive Institute. Mr. Perrin holds a BS from Illinois State University. Under his leadership, Magellan Associates LLC has been recognized as “Company of the Year” by a group of nationally recognized senior executives based on contributions to the IT/business industry and the community.
William (Bill) E. Davis Managing Principal and Founding Executive
Bill has over 30 years of IT experience, including multiple tenures as Chief Information Officer and other executive positions. Bill has worked in air and ground transportation, law enforcement, banking, finance and technology industries. With this background, he co-founded Magellan Associates LLC and co-created The Performance Management Trilogy©. He has provided services, coached executives and their teams to organization performance excellence including Fortune 50 to 1000 companies, both profit and non-profit in the United States and abroad.
Mr. Davis is the author of The Foundation Guide – Management Tools for the Serious Executive. The winner of several Gold Medal awards and honors from industry organizations, Bill has a BS from Washington State University and an MBA from Golden Gate University at San Francisco. He is a Founding Faculty Member of the University of Miami’s IT Executive Institute. He was an Officer in the United States Army.
Stephanie Hill Managing Principal, Business Development
Stephanie has more than 25 years of IT and business experience, including Chief Information Officer, Vice President Marketing and Vice President Strategy. Stephanie has worked in banking, financial services, air transportation, package delivery and software services industries. In addition to her corporate experience, Stephanie has successfully founded and run an information technology consulting practice providing staff augmentation, management and IT services to both profit and non-profit organizations.
Stephanie is involved with various non-profit organizations including United Way and Finance Chair for IT Senior Management Forum, a national consortium of senior IT leaders. She holds a bachelor degree in Computer Science from the University of Pittsburgh and an MBA from Emory University.
Marcus Harwood Managing Principal
Following a successful 14-year career as a Partner/VP at Cap Gemini Ernst & Young, Marcus Harwood started a new consulting organization called OND, offering services in selling, teaming, executive development and innovation.
Marcus held many key leadership positions in Cap Gemini Ernst & Young including leadership positions in: practice management, sales, and marketing. In addition to these formal leadership roles, Marcus was one of a very few Big Deal Coaches in the firm. He was the innovator of Method Teaming, which was a core ingredient enabling substantial increases in per-partner income. Before joining Ernst & Young, Marcus held key executive positions at MSA and Hayes Microcomputer Products, Inc.
Mr. Harwood is a CPA and CPIM. He has BA in Administrative Management from Clemson University and an MBA from the Clemson-Furman MBA Program. Marcus was a guest lecturer at the Kellogg School of Management – MBA Program at Northwestern University in 2003 and 2004. He was also a guest lecturer at Clemson University in 2003 and 2004.
Marcus co-authored the book “Total Cost Management” and is currently writing a new book: “Method Teaming”. He was an Officer in the United States Air Force.
Vallerie Parrish-Porter Managing Principal, CIO
Vallerie Parrish-Porter is globally recognized Senior Level Executive, having served as the key technology principal for several top fortune companies during her career.
Ms. Parrish-Porter has extensive experience as a turn around specialist and agent of change; leading moderately performing organizations into models of efficiency, collaboration, and strong providers of value to the businesses they serve. Her directives that IT organizations must run as a business, and a trusted and credible partner with the business, has gained her the highest degree of respect and admiration with all that work with her.
In addition, to her role as CIO, Ms Parrish-Porter has also performed as the Controller for a major organization. This combination of financial and business experience, coupled with a strong technology background, and gifted leadership abilities, has led her to become one of the most sought after CIO and Sr. Executives in the industry.
Ms. Parrish-Porter is the recipient of many of the industries top awards. Most recently her organization was recognized as one the top 50 IT organization in the country by Information Week. In addition, Ms. Parrish-Porter has been selected as one of the "50 Most Important Blacks in Technology" for the last seven years by the editors of US Black Engineer & Information Technology magazine. She has also won such industry-related awards as the 2003 National Woman of Color Technologist of the Year Award and was recognized as one of Houston’s “Top 20 Women in Technology” for 2000.
Ms Parrish-Porter has a BS from Southern University, and an MBA, from the University of Miami.
Zackerie (Zack) Lemelle Managing Principal, CIO Zack Lemelle recently completed a 20+ year career with Johnson & Johnson, with his most recent position as the Vice President of Information Technology Corporate Systems where he was responsible for Procurement, Legal, Communications, Worldwide Operations, Corporate Office of Science and Technology, JJ Development Corporate and Marketing applications, and next generation procurement technology.
Zack held a number of prestigious positions with Johnson & Johnson, including Worldwide Vice President and CIO Management & Business Process Management for Ethicon, Inc., and Vice President/CIO for Ortho-McNeil Pharmaceutical.
Zack was a founding member and Co-Chair of the Johnson & Johnson African American Leadership Council and he is currently serving as the Chairperson for the IT Senior Management Forum (www.itsmfonline.com ).
